Acceptance
These terms govern your access to and use of brisbanetreecare.com.au (the "Service"), operated by Brisbane Tree Care ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree with any part, do not use the Service.
What this website is
Brisbane Tree Care is a referral website. We pass enquiries to independent tree contractors operating across South East Queensland. We do not carry out tree work ourselves, we do not employ the contractors, and we are not a party to any agreement you enter into with them.
Any contract for tree work is formed directly between you and the contractor. Scope, price, timing, workmanship, insurance and warranty are matters between you and them. The disclaimer sets this out in more detail and forms part of these terms.
Enquiries
When you submit an enquiry you are asking to be contacted by a contractor. You agree that the details you provide are accurate and that you are authorised to request work at the property concerned — if you are a tenant, an agent or a body corporate representative, that means having the owner's authority.
Submitting an enquiry does not create a booking, does not lock in a price, and does not oblige any contractor to take the job. Handling of the information you submit is covered by the privacy policy.
Information on this site
Content on this website, including service descriptions, cost ranges, suburb notes and information about council rules, is general information only. It is not professional arboricultural, legal, engineering or insurance advice, and it is not a substitute for an inspection of your tree by a qualified person.
Council rules, legislation and prices change. Cost figures published on this site are indicative ranges, not quotations, and no work is priced until a contractor has assessed the site. Always confirm current requirements with the relevant council or authority before acting.
Acceptable use
You may use the Service for lawful purposes only. You must not attempt to interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure, use automated means to scrape or harvest content, submit false or misleading enquiries, or use the Service to transmit unlawful, offensive or infringing material.
Intellectual property
The Service and its original content, features, layout and functionality are owned by Brisbane Tree Care and are protected by Australian and international copyright and trade mark law. You may not reproduce, republish or commercially exploit material from this site without written permission.
Third-party links and embedded content
This site contains links to third-party websites and embeds third-party content such as enquiry forms. Those sites and services are not controlled by us, and we are not responsible for their content, policies or practices. Your use of them is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, and subject to the paragraph below, Brisbane Tree Care is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from your use of the Service, from information published on it, or from any dealings with a contractor referred through it.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Where liability can be limited but not excluded, our liability is limited to resupplying the relevant service or paying the cost of having it resupplied.
Availability and changes
The Service is provided on an "as is" basis. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of harmful components. We may add to, alter, suspend or withdraw any part of the Service at any time without notice, and we may amend these terms, with the current version always published on this page.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that state.
